I just wanted her to be happy. She was so lonely after we moved. A new town, no friends, and no boyfriend… And after I heard her that day outside on the phone, I knew I had to try and make her stay… I didn’t mean for things to turn out the way they did… I can’t believe I let myself think it could work.
