Evil Angel, also known as The Evil Empire, is a company that I own, John Stagliano. It is set up in a completely unique way from any other video porno firm. I sell my own videos as well as the videos of several other directors. We are different in that I do not own the videos of these other directors. I sell the videos of these directors and receive a portion of the gross sales for my services. This arrangement was inspired by my previous experience selling videos to porno companies. They would then buy my videos and become the owners. It was difficult for me to establish a good reputation among the public. I also didn’t get more money if my videos were extremely well-sellers.
At Evil Angel I wanted to create a situation where the directors could be rewarded for the hard work they put into creating their product. Directors get more money if their videos are successful. This is a powerful incentive for them find better ways of making videos. All indications are that this system works very well. Our DVDs have the highest sales. Each director has their own style and content. But they are all committed to creating the best product.
